WELCOME!

First post! Woohoo!  Thanks for joining me. 

I am a DIYer who has a love of gift wrapping, crafting, parties and baking.  Here you will find a little bit of everything.  My style could be described as whimsical and fun, although I do admire and have moments of minimalism and elegance.

I am a mom of two boys, married to a techie and enjoying life in Canada.  While my sons are no longer "little," I still have fond memories of working on crafts late into the night for their various birthday celebrations over the years.  I hope to share some of those creations with you in future posts.

I recently celebrated a birthday and all I wanted this year was more love and kindness in the world.  So instead of a happy birthday banner, I decided to make something that I could reuse and spread the message of the unity that was shared by the great Bob Marley.

I also set out to make some decorations using materials from my recycling bin and craft scraps.  I am always looking for ways to be more eco-friendly.  Our environment needs kindness as well!
